Women interested in trades training at Okanagan College can find out more at an information session from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Kelowna campus, Room T123.
The various program available will be outlined, and there will also be information about subsidies through the federal-provincial Women in Trades Training Initiative.
To access the assistance, women have to be unemployed, underemployed and-or low skilled and not eligible for employment insurance benefits.
